Teaching at the University
Industrial Design course, Aversa — 2015
In 2015 Arco Arredo signed an agreement for curricular training and orientation placements with the “Luigi Vanvitelli” Department of Architecture and Industrial Design in Aversa, Second University of Naples.
Its purpose was to help students make their professional choices through direct contact with the working world, alternating study and workshop. Within the course held by professor Claudio Gambardella I gave a number of lectures on designing with DuPont™ Corian®.
It was not a sales presentation. It was explaining to people who design what a material will let you do and what it will not: where you can bend it, where you have to bond it, why some shapes cost very little and others cost a great deal.
One of the lectures
