Certified by DuPont since 2014 — partner no. 1195
Anyone can buy a sheet of Corian®. Not everyone can fabricate it with DuPont’s certification behind them — and the difference is not a plaque on the wall: it is written into the warranty terms.
Arco Arredo has been part of the Corian® Quality Network Partner Program since 2014, under number 1195.
The 10-year warranty only works this way
Corian® Solid Surface carries a 10-year Limited Warranty given directly by DuPont. But that warranty comes with a precise condition: it applies only if the piece was fabricated and installed by a workshop belonging to the Corian® Quality Network Partner Program.
If the work was done by someone outside the programme, the DuPont warranty does not apply. This is not our interpretation — these are the terms DuPont publishes.

What it means in practice
- Technical training received from DuPont. The programme cannot be bought: it is granted after DuPont has trained the workshop and has assessed and certified its fabrication and installation skills.
- Original materials, no middlemen. We use DuPont™ Corian® sheets, bowls and adhesives exclusively, with the company’s approval to use the trademark.
- The sanding protocol. The finish is done with professional machinery, going through every abrasive grade in sequence without skipping any: it is the only way the surface does not stay microporous.
- The warranty certificate for the client. When the work is finished we issue the certificate carrying the 10 years of warranty.
The “Tuenda” shells
Technical training is not there to make easy things better: it is there so you can accept the work that others turn down. A university research laboratory asked us for the “Tuenda” shells — a run of double-domed pieces, all identical, to be lit from the inside.
A shape like that cannot be got by bending a sheet. First you build the mould, milled on a five-axis CNC machine; then you thermoform the Corian® over it, piece by piece, until every shell comes out the same. And they can be lit from within because Corian®, in a thin section, lets light through.

How to check it
It takes two minutes, and it is worth doing with anyone — ourselves included. Ask for the Quality Network partner number and the year of joining. Ours is 1195, since 2014.
