Corian bathtubs
Built to measure, with no visible joint
A DuPont™ Corian bathtub is not bought: it is built. The dimensions are decided by the space, not by a catalogue — and that changes everything in bathrooms where centimetres count.
The bath is built from several shaped elements, bonded and then sanded. The curves are obtained by thermoforming: heated above 150°, Corian becomes mouldable and holds its shape as it cools. In the end no joint can be seen, and the surface is continuous from rim to base.
The practical advantage shows over the years: not being porous, Corian does not yellow and holds no limescale in the joints, because there are no joints. And if it gets scratched, it is sanded.
