White staircase in Corian and glass

A staircase is not a piece of furniture: it is climbed and descended thousands of times, and every step takes knocks, shoes, suitcases. Making it white and apparently suspended means accepting that every flaw will show.
The treads are in DuPont™ Corian, coloured all the way through: the white is not a surface applied over another material, so a mark on the edge reveals nothing different underneath. And if it dulls over time, it is sanded and comes back as it was.
The balustrade is glass, with no visible posts: the staircase stays light and does not cut the living room in two.
